Solar Array Deployment Rig
Solar Array Deployment Rig (SADR) is designed to test the operability of Spacecraft Solar Array (SA) deployment mechanisms while using the zero-g system to eliminate the effect of gravity (simulating the state of weightlessness).
The installation of the SA onto the spacecraft is also performed by means of this facility.
